Our Team

Arphius is managed by an experienced management team. The team of Arphius has extensive experience in many projects and transactions in diverse industries, both nationally and internationally. For each project a project leader will coordinate the project from A tot Z. In this process, the goals of yourself and your company are crucial.

The office is managed by Nico Swinnen, together with some associates, apart from which several consultants are attached to Arphius and are called upon considering the needs of the customer and the project. This way, Arphius can offer the needed expertise tailored to your specific needs.

Nico Swinnen started his professional career at PWC and later on at Deloitte in external audit. During these years as external auditor, Nico specialized in consolidation and special missions. In 2000, he was recognized as ‘Chartered Accountant’ and took the pledge before the Chamber of Commerce. Later on, Nico has focused more and more on financial advice and corporate finance within the Deloitte Corporate Finance department where he was active as a manager.

Since 2003, Nico is active as a financial advisor and partner within Arphius. He coordinates M&A deals and recovery projects. He is also active as external director in the board of directors of other companies.

Apart from his profession, he completed with great honours an International MBA at the Vlerick Management School in 2006.
